Lenelle Moise '02 Performs at IC
Poet, playwright, and performance artist Lenelle Moise '02 was the special guest artist on campus for National Coming Out Day celebration, performing her solo piece, Queer(ed) Poems. Moise, the author of several plays, won the 2003 James Baldwin Memorial Award in Playwriting and earned an M.F.A. in playwriting from Smith College in 2004. She is also the author of several poetry chapbooks and a three-time winner of the New World Theater National Poetry Slam. She has presented her autobiographical one-woman performance, Womb-Words, Thirsting, nationwide.
