Eric Serritella ’85 works full time creating ceramic trompe l’oeil sculpture from his Newfield studio just outside of Ithaca. His work has appeared in many periodicals and books on ceramic art and is included in museum and private art collections in the USA and Asia. Eric's "Sassy Birch Teapot" is entirely hand carved from stoneware first thrown on the potter’s wheel. It was inspired by a lifelong love of trees and the “big birch we dine under outdoors all summer long.”
