Richard Krueger ’85, Paul Dunay ’85, and Joel Elad, Facebook Advertising for Dummies (John Wiley and Sons, 2010)
Richard and Paul’s newest collaboration offers ideas and techniques for advertising on Facebook. In keeping with the “dummies” series, the two have created an easy-to-follow guide for individuals and businesses who would like to reach customers using the popular social networking site. The two veteran marketers cover the basics—the key components of an effective Facebook ad, how to apply the latest strategies and tactics for successful advertising campaigns, and the tools needed to help the reader know if their ad is getting the desired results.
Friends while they were at IC, Richard and Paul recently got reacquainted via Facebook. In addition to Facebook Advertising, they coauthored Facebook Marketing for Dummies (Wiley, 2009). Paul is the chief marketing officer of Networked Insights, a company specializing in social media analytics. Richard is founder and CEO of AboutFace Digital, a social media marketing agency that focuses on Facebook promotions, and he is also cofounder of Samepoint, LLC, a social media analytics company.
