| Ithaca College and its predecessor institutions, the Ithaca Conservatory and Affiliated Schools and the Ithaca
Conservatory of Music, have had six presidents. As our contribution to the celebration of the College's seventh
president, Peggy Williams, the Ithaca College Archives has investigated previous inaugurations and presidential transitions.
The events, announcements, or news coverage for each are a reflection of the era in which the president began his tenure, so all are different. A paper version of this exhibit is on display in the lobby of the library, located on the second floor of the Gannett Center. |
