As part of the inauguration of President Peggy Williams, members of the campus community are encouraged to participate in the Day of Service by organizing their own projects or by supporting the events and activities listed below.

Collections
Food Collection Sponsored by
Staff Council
Canned goods and non-perishable items will be donated to Loaves and Fishes and the Kitchen Cupboard.

Book Collection Sponsored by
Faculty Council
Children's books will be presented to the Family Reading Partnership of Tompkins County, and academic books and journals will be donated to higher education institutions of developing countries. All other books will be given to the Friends of the Library.

Clothing Collection Sponsored by
Student Government Association
Clothing items in clean and good condition will be donated to local agencies.

Egbert Hall lobby, Muller Faculty Center (first floor), Emerson Hall lounge, Terrace Dining Hall (second floor), and the Towers Concourse

Involvement Fair Sponsored by the Community Service Network and the Campus Center Student Staff
Visit the Egbert Hall lobby during the Day of Service and join in on the projects organized by the committees of the Community Service Network to benefit their partnerships in the Ithaca area. Information regarding ongoing volunteer opportunities in the local area will be available.


Community Cleanup Sponsored by the Leadership Advisory Committee
Sign up at the information table in the Egbert Hall lobby during the week of March 23-27 for the community cleanup during the Day of Service.
