Living and Residence Options

Because Ithaca College believes that learning should go beyond the classroom, we provide a comprehensive residential experience. Over 70 percent of our students live on campus in our 52 residence halls. Among our special options are areas reserved for first-year and honors students; floors and/or halls for students interested in multiculturalism, sustainability issues, and outdoor recreation; and residence halls that are substance-free or offer expanded quiet hours.

And just as your professors guide your classroom study, our residence directors and resident assistants help you out in the dorms, whether it's answering questions about college life, planning hall events, or recommending a good restaurant. They can even show you how our online laundry service lets you keep an eye on your wash cycle from your room. (And no need to scrounge for quarters, either.)

For Your Dining Pleasure

We have three dining halls on campus, conveniently located in residence halls or near the academic quad. Besides your basic fare, we provide vegetarian, vegan, kosher, and special-needs meals, as well as brown-bag lunches, late-night meals, Sunday brunch, and Friday Shabbat.

With Bonus Bucks (money deposited in your meal plan and accessed simply by using your ID card), you can order lunch at B.J.'s/Sub Connection, pop into Mac's convenience store between classes for a midafternoon snack, grab a freshly made sandwich at IC Square, or drop by La Vincita for a latte.
