The Ithaca College Wind Ensemble will team up with the Ithaca College Concert Band for a free concert on Thursday, February 5.

The performance will begin at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall in the James J. Whalen Center for Music. Stephen Peterson and Keith Kaiser will conduct the respective groups; Kim Dunnick will be the trumpet soloist.

The wind ensemble will perform a composition by Morton Gould along with "Leader Lieder" by Dana Wilson, the Charles A. Dana Professor of Music Theory, History, and Composition at Ithaca College. The concert band will play works by Ira Hearshen and Malcolm Arnold. The two groups will combine for a performance of "Dionysiaques" by Florent Schmitt.
