The Office of Multicultural Affairs invites Ithaca College community members to nominate an Ithaca College ALANA (African American, Latino/a, Asian, or Native American) student to be considered for the 2004–2005 Rashad G. This merit scholarship is intended to recognize a high-achieving male or female student representing the ALANA community. The student receiving this scholarship will have made significant contributions toward improving the quality of life for ALANA youth in the Tompkins County community. In the event that the recipient of this award is receiving need-based loans, the award will be utilized to reduce loan indebtedness.
Students nominated for this scholarship should be ALANA students entering the sophomore, junior, or senior year who are in good academic and judicial standing with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, and who have demonstrated a record of community service with city or county youth programs.

Nominations are due Monday, February 23, 2004, in either OMA office.
