Caregiver Education and Support Group Meets March 4

Contributed by Amy Beth Miller

Holding a job while trying to provide care for an aging or disabled adult family member (whether nearby or long-distance) can be a challenging balancing act. The informal education and support group for employees dealing with caregiving issues shares information and support, and periodically invites a speaker on pertinent topics.

This group meets the first Friday of each month. The next meeting is scheduled for Friday, March 4, 2005, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in room 413 of the Center for Health Sciences (Gerontology Resource Room). Please feel free to bring your lunch. Beverages and cookies will be provided.

The group was established by the Gerontology Institute together with the Office of Human Resources. For further information please call Mary Tomaselli (4-3083) or Pam Mayberry (4-1607).
