The history department of Ithaca College is pleased to announce the speaker for this year's Marjorie Fortunoff Mayrock Lecture.

On April 4, 7:00 p.m., in Williams 225, Isaac Kramnick will lecture on "God, the Constitution, and the Pledge of Allegiance." Vice-provost and professor of government at Cornell University, Kramnick is coauthor of The Godless Constitution: The Case against Religious Correctness," author of numerous books on U.S. and European government, and editor of many collections of primary sources of American and European politics.

The Marjorie Fortunoff Mayrock Lecture series began in 1979 thanks to Elliot Mayrock '73, vice president of retail giant Fortunoff's. The series was named in memory of his mother, Marjorie, in 1984.
