An iPod Could Be Yours For a Song

Contributed by Anne Woodard on 03/03/2006

What's that? You haven't been to the Bursar's Office yet to buy a raffle ticket for the beautiful iPod they are offering? And you haven't drooled over the chocolate basket raffle yet either? Time is wasting away. Don't let your buddies beat you to the tickets!

For a suggested donation of $1 per ticket or $2 for three tickets, you, too, can participate in these raffles. Don't be embarrassed to donate more if you'd like. All money raised from the Bursar's Benefit Auction will go to two wonderful charities, Tompkins County SPCA and Hospice of Ithaca. You can feel good about supporting these marvelous causes while you munch on your basket o' chocolate and listen to some great tunes on your new iPod! Come on, you can spare a few bucks! Spring break has come and gone, and you need new things to spend your money on!

Speaking of spending funds, be sure to come to the fourth annual Bursar's Benefit Auction on Wednesday, March 29, in the Clark Lounge of the Campus Center! The silent auction will be featured from 10:00 a.m. to noon, followed by the live auction from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Raffle drawings will be held during the live auction. Wait till you see all the great gifts we have lined up! Don't forget about our ever popular gift balloons, too. Pop a balloon and win a prize. How could it get any easier?

See you at the auction on March 29!
