Deadline approaches for Photo Entries

How We Look: Images of Aging

All students are reminded of the approaching deadline to submit photos for "How We Look: Images of Aging", a photographic exhibition to be held this fall at the Handwerker Gallery Rotunda.
The deadline is Tuesday, April 17, to submit up to three (3) of your favorite photographs of older family, friends, and/or acquaintances to this juried exhibition. Prints (black-and-white or color, digital composite, etc.) should not exceed 11x14 inches un-matted. Prints should be marked with your name, phone number, and E-mail address.

There is no entry fee, but cash prizes will be awarded:

First prize $300
Second prize $200
Third prize $100

You should deliver your work to the Gerontology Institute, Room 407, Center for Health Sciences, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. All students currently enrolled at Ithaca College are eligible to enter.

Judges for the show are Janice Levy, Associate Professor, Department of Cinema, Photography, and Media Arts, and Sheryl D. Sinkow of Sheryl D. Sinkow Photography in Ithaca.

This exhibition - scheduled for this fall - is made possible through the generous support of The Gerontology Institute and the Roy H. Park School of Communications, and Judi '73 and Jay '72 Linden.
