There will be a screening of Battleship Potemkin at the Handwerker Gallery at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12. Patricia Zimmerman, professor in the Department of Cinema, Photography, and Media Arts, will introduce this classic film.

On Wednesday, November 12, the Handwerker Gallery will present a screening of Battleship Potemkin, Sergei Eisensteinís dramatized version of the 1905 uprising of the Potemkin.

Patricia Zimmerman, professor in the Department of Cinema, Photography, and Media Arts and codirector of the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival, will introduce the film at 6:00 p.m.

This screening is cosponsored by the Departments of History and Art History. All Handwerker Gallery events are free and open to the public. For further information please contact Genevieve Kocienda, Handwerker Gallery Outreach Coordinator, at gkocienda@ithaca.edu.
