President Emerita Peggy Williams and Margaret Arnold, of the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies, presented at the 2009 annual chairs meeting in College Station, Texas.

Williams presented the session "The Many Dimensions of Effectiveness" as part of the closing ceremony and Arnold presented the educational session "Reflections of a First-Term Chair."

Participants of this annual three-day meeting included department chairs and heads of recreation and leisure studies departments from the U.S. and Canada.
