Patricia Zimmermann Presents at European Cinema Research ForumContributed by Melissa Gattine on 07/29/2009 Patricia Zimmermann, professor of cinema, photography and media arts, moderated and presented at the European Cinema Research Forum (ECRF), the international cinema studies research forum that travels between Europe and the United States, on July 12 at Binghamton University. Zimmermann moderated the closing roundtable with theorists and film directors exploring the shifting terrains of the national and the international for theorists and practitioners in the context of production, distribution, exhibition, film festivals, new technologies, new business models, and new theoretical models. Her presentation focused on the political economies of new technologies and the international film festival circuit. |
