The Ithaca College Symphonic Band will present a free concert on Thursday, October 8 at 8:15 pm in Ford Hall at Ithaca College.   Music of Saint-Saens, Vaughan Williams, Rogers, Bach, Chance, and Tucker will be conducted by Elizabeth Peterson.

The Concert Band, conducted by Mark Fonder, and the Symphonic Band, conducted by Elizabeth Peterson are bands of approximately 75 players each. The majority of performers in these ensembles are music majors, and the two bands consist of players of equal talent and experience. These bands perform six concerts per year both on and off campus. Repertoire consists of the finest traditional and contemporary literature for the full concert band. The Concert and Symphonic Bands rehearse four hours per week.
