Michael Malpass, Professor of Anthropology and Dana Chair in the Social Sciences, was elected to the Institute of Andean Research (IAR) at its December 2008 meetings.

 

Michael Malpass, Professor of Anthropology and Dana Chair in the Social Sciences, was elected to the Institute of Andean Research (IAR) at its December 2008 meetings.

The IAR, based in New York City, is a research institute dedicated to historical anthropological investigations of the andean region.  Membership is by election only, and is based on the quality of research.
