 Marella Feltrin-Morris (Italian) publishes translation

 Assistant Professor of Italian Marella-Feltrin-Morris has published a translation of Paola Masino's Nascita e morte della Massaia (Birth and Death of the Housewife) with SUNY Press. 

 

This is the first English-language translation of Masino's most controversial novel, one that provoked Fascist censorship for its critical portrayal of marriage and motherhood.
