Do you have diabetes? Do you know a family member with diabetes? How about a friend? a cousin? a teacher?
If so, this is the chance for you to become a member of the Diabetes Awareness Club. As a member you will receive all the necessary information and facts on diabetes, a disease that is becoming one of the most common diseases in America today.We also hope that all members will help plan and take part in our events that will be taking place on campus to raise money for the American Diabetes Association. As a new club on campus, we will be holding an informational meeting on WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 2, 2009 @ 8PM. This meeting will hopefully give you an understanding of what diabetes is, what our club goals are, what our events will be, etc. This meeting will take place in the fishbowl (the glass room) in the pub, so please come by if you are at all interested in becoming a member or just want some more information on Diabetes in general.
