Want real world experience in collaborative new media and social networking design? Want to build your resume? Want to engage on an international level with environmental issues? Then sign up now for the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival Lab.
This course explores the concept of open space through a range of theories and practices of social media, social networking, emerging technologies, user-generated content, and other structures. Students will engage in group projects that combine conceptual investigations of open space modes with digital interfaces and social media. 1 credit. (IRR)
Course will be taught by two new media and social media designers with international exhibition profiles who will immerse students in a professional and critical experience in the 2010 Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival.
