Professors Mike Buck and James Pfrehm Conduct Workshop at Annual APTA ConferenceContributed by James Pfrehm on 02/09/2011 Professors Mike Buck (Physical Therapy) and James Pfrehm (Modern Languages) conducted a full-day workshop in New Orleans at the annual conference for the American Physical Therapy Associations, entitled "PT 2.0: Bringing Web 2.0 into the Physical Therapy Curriculum." Their pre-conference workshop focused on the incorporation of Web 2.0 tools into the physical therapy curriculum. Following what they call the "D3CS Model" (Define, Demonstrate, Do, Create, Share), attendees explored how these tools can be incorporated into their own teaching, and received guidance in developing materials for immediate use. |
