About Koch Brother Exposed
Charles and David Koch were virtually unheard of at the beginning of 2011, and that’s the way they would have preferred it to stay. Come this spring, acclaimed Director Robert Greenwald (Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price, Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism, Rethink Afghanistan) releases Koch Brothers Exposed , a full-length feature film based off the popular and widely shared viral series that made the Kochs a household name.
In March 2011, Greenwald faced and conquered a $40 billion Koch hurdle by launching a multi-fold grassroots, new media campaign.
About Jim Miller, producer
Jim Miller is a graduate of Ithaca College and has a BS in TV-Radio from the Roy H. Park School of Communications.
For the past 6 years he has been the Executive Director for Brave New Foundation and Brave New Films. He joined the company when the Foundation was initially formed by putting together a coalition of over 100 groups (including Amnesty International, MoveOn, True Majority, and Voters For Peace) to push a unique system of distribution and house screenings for Iraq For Sale.
Since then Jim has strengthened distribution so that their short videos have achieved over 60 million views.
His latest project is producer of the documentary Koch Brothers Exposed. His film experience began 25 years ago working on the films such as Bull Durham and Under The Gun. He has served as the Director of Development for The Shooting Gallery, an independent film company which produced Sling Blade and You Can Count on Me, and Head of Acquisitions for Cinema Park Distribution.
The 15th Anniversary edition of FLEFF Microtopias runs March 25-April 1, 2012, on the Ithaca College Campus and downtown at Cinemapolis. More details about FLEFF 2012 here.
