LaCrosse, Wis. – The NCAA has announced seedings and complete brackets for this weekend’s NCAA Championships, to be hosted by Wisconsin-LaCrosse Friday and Saturday. Five of Ithaca’s six entrants have been seeded, including a pair of Bombers who earned the top seed in their weight class.
Seth Ecker and junior Jules Doliscar are the top seeds at 133 and 174 pounds, respectively. Nick Sanko, a graduate student, is seeded third at 165; graduate student Jeremy Stierly is the fourth seed at 149; and senior Derek Brenon is seeded eighth at 157. Ithaca’s sixth entrant, senior heavyweight Matt Mahon, is unseeded. All six Bombers earned trips to the NCAA Championships by winning individual titles at the Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference (ECWC) Championships.
