Interested in Supporting Native American Studies? Steering Committee Meeting 4/10 at noonContributed by Brooke Hansen on 04/03/2012
Native American Studies currently maintains a minor, organizes lists of courses available in the minor each semester, coordinates Native American Month with OSEMA, co-sponsors the First Peoples' Festival each year (held in conjunction with Apple Fest), and raises awareness about Native American issues nationally, locally and on our campus. We welcome input from students, staff and faculty. Check out our website http://www.ithaca.edu/hs/minors/native_american/ For more information contact Coordinator Brooke Hansen at kbhansen@ithaca.edu or 274-1735. Picture: Onondaga Nation artist Eli Thomas doing touch ups on the collaborative mural painted by students and faculty. Please stop by and see the mural and read the commemorative plaque on the second floor of Williams Hall. *Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Brooke with the contact info above. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible |
