This week recognizes the many accomplishments of nurses and their profession. The nurses of the Hammond Health Center bring an extensive array of talents and experience to Ithaca College, providing care and education to our students seven days a week when classes are in session. National Nurses Week is celebrated annually from May 6, also known as National Nurses Day, through May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing. The National Nurses Week logo is developed by the American Nurses Association (ANA) to help celebrate nurses and all that they do.
