Memphis and Pulsar Departmental File Migration Starts July 18thContributed by Beth Rugg on 07/12/2012 Over the next 4 weeks, ITS will be migrating academic and administrative departmental files from the Novell file servers (Pulsar and Memphis) to the new Active Directory file server, Mentor. The migration schedule for individual departments is available online, but dates are subject to change. Departments will be notified individually if these dates need to change. In many respects, accessing files on Mentor will be very similar to how they are accessed on Novell. However, both Mac and Windows users will need to create new aliases and shortcuts, and users who access server files from off campus will need to use a new remote access procedure.
