Submitted on behalf of Marisa Kelly, Provost:

Please join me on Thursday, September 6th, for the first Faculty Colloquium of the new academic year. Ali Erkan, Department of Computer Science, will be presenting: When James Carville Said `It's the economy, stupid', He Was Off by Only One Word.

The IC Faculty Colloquium, launched last year, is a monthly event designed to provide a forum for faculty to share with one another their scholarly and creative work. This is a chance for people across department and school lines to learn more about the exciting pursuits of their colleagues and to engage with one another as members of a common learning community.

The Colloquium will take place from 5:00p.m.-6:30p.m. in the Klingenstein Lounge. We will enjoy wine, appetizers, an outstanding presentation, and excellent conversation.  I hope to see you there.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact MaryAnn Taylor at or (607) 274-3113. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
