The Handwerker Gallery is excited to be hosting "Election Update: Who Will Win, and How Will They Do It?", a salon presentation by Tom Shevory, faculty member in the Department of Politics, taking place on Tuesday, October 2, at 4:00 p.m.. Shevory has published five books and numerous scholarly articles on issues related to law, public policy, and popular culture, with special attention to health and environment.
The Tuesday Salon is a Handwerker Gallery program aimed at providing students, faculty, staff, and members of the community a forum outside of the classroom for intellectual discussion and debate. Topics are selected by our guest discussant, who provides a 10-minute introduction and moderates the ensuing conversation.
All Handwerker events are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and weekends, noon to 5:00 p.m.. The gallery is closed to the public on Tuesdays unless otherwise specified for an event but can accommodate group or class visits by appointment. For further information or individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations contact Mara Baldwin at firstname.lastname@example.org or 607.274.3548.
