David Pacun, School of Music, Publishes Article on the Relationship of Music and Politics in Interwar Japan

David Pacun, Associate Professor of Music Theory and Interim Associate Dean at the School of Music, has recently published an extended article on the relationship between music and politics in interwar Japan. 

The article, "Nationalism and Musical Style in Interwar Yogaku: A Reappraisal," appears in the latest issue of the Journal of the Society of Asian Music (vol. 43 no. 2, 1-46).
