In preparation for re-enrollment, we are asking employees to review the following information.

Our Dental, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Dependent Life, and Vision & Hearing Care insurance plans cover dependents ages 19 to 25 as long as they are full time students or are registered as disabled. Verification of full time student status is necessary to ensure eligibility requirements are met on an annual basis.

If you have a dependent between the ages of 19 and 25 who receives Dependent Tuition Remission or a Cash Award for the 2012-2013 academic year and is a full time student, their student status will be automatically updated for you. Your application will be used as verification of full time student status.

In the event you have a dependent between the ages of 19 and 25 who is a full time student but did not receive Dependent Tuition Remission or a Cash Award for the 2012-2013 academic year, please complete a Dependent/Contact Add-Update Form and attach documentation that verifies this information (a printed schedule, tuition bill etc.).

Please contact the Employee Benefits & Work/Life Department at benefits@ithaca.edu to update your benefit elections if your dependent does not meet the eligibility requirements for the plans listed above.

**** Please note: this requirement is separate from the Dependent Eligibility Verification Requirement.  Proof of full time student status must be updated annually to ensure coverage. ****

Thank You
