Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin MaryContributed by Melinda Butler on 12/06/2012 Saturday (December 8) is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception This is a “holy day of obligation” on the Catholic calendar. December 8 is our Patronal Feastday—the United States is dedicated to Mary under the title of the Immaculate Conception. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday in Muller Chapel.
