Ten Thousand Villages is an exceptional source for unique handmade gifts, jewelry, home decor, art and sculpture, textiles, serveware and personal accessories representing the diverse cultures of artisans in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. One of the world's largest fair trade organizations and a founding member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO), the company strives to improve the livlihoods of tens of thousands of disadvantaged artisans in 38 countries.
This week, the Ithaca College Circle K Club, which focuses on community service and social justice in the local area, will be hosting 10000 Villages in the North Foyer of the Campus Center during the following dates and times:
Wednesday, December 12, 9:00am - 3:00pm
Thursday, December 13, 9:00am - 3:00pm
Come down and pick up a new hat, a scarf, or pair of gloves before winter really kicks in, or check out the array of other clothing items and jewelry - they make great gifts for friends and loved ones!
