The following is submitted on behalf of Provost Marisa Kelly:

As you know Ken Kutler, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics & Recreational Sports, will retire at the end of the academic year after ten years of outstanding service to Ithaca College.   As such, a national search will take place beginning immediately.  A search committee has been formed and will be chaired by Dr. Margaret Arnold, Special Assistant to the Provost/Associate Professor of Recreation and Leisure Studies; Paul Hesler, Acting Director for Institutional Advancement; Ernie McClatchie, Director of Facilities Grounds & Transportation; Paula Miller, Head Swimming Coach; Mindy Quigg, Head Soccer Coach; Tracy Rivas, Student-Athlete; Dr. Kent Scriber, Exercise & Sport Science;  Megan Wagner, Program Coordinator of Recreational Sports; Mike Welch, Head Football Coach; Dr. Wenmouth Williams, Television-Radio (and Faculty-Athletic Representative); and George Valesente, Head Baseball Coach.

I wish to thank the above mentioned individuals for their time and commitment in conducting this national search. Periodic updates will be provided in Intercom about the progress of the search.
