Maria DiFrancesco (Modern Languages and Literatures) elected Secretary of international association

Maria DiFrancesco, Associate Professor of Spanish, Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, was recently elected Secretary of the Asociación Internacional de Literatura y Cultura Femenina Hispánica (AILCFH). 

The purpose of this international academic organization of almost 700 members is to promote the study of Hispanic literature and culture produced by women. AILCFH offers its members many opportunities for professional development through its annual conference as well as through publication in the academic journal Letras Femeninas and its electronic bulletin, Grafemas.
