Yvonne Rogalski, assistant professor in the department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, will give a presentation at Longview about an article she and her former student, Muriel Quintana, recently had accepted for publication by the journal "Perspectives on Neurophysiology and Neurogenic Speech and Language Disorders."
This talk will explore the current evidence related to a number of interventions and products being promoted to prevent or reduce the risk of age-related cognitive decline. These include: social and activity engagement; computerized brain training; physical activity; omega-3 fatty acids; polyphenols; alcohol; and coffee.
This presentation will take place at Longview on Wednesday, June 26th at 7:00 PM in the Auditorium.
