Please mark your calendars for the All College Meeting that will be held Thursday, August 22, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Emerson Suites of the Campus Center.
We will discuss at this meeting progress in achieving the goals of our strategic vision, IC 20/20, and the benefits we have already seen from accomplishment of the plan so far. I will also describe the recommendations made to me by the Institutional Effectiveness and Budget Committee (IEBC) from the proposals made by the Huron consultants, and my decisions based on those IEBC recommendations. We will also discuss longer term plans for new revenue and improved organizational effectiveness that will enable us to meet the goal of keeping future cost increases to students down near the rate of inflation while continuing to generate compensation pools for faculty and staff that are above the rate of inflation.
Within the constraints of time and a very large room, we always seek to create the opportunity for dialog in these meetings. To best facilitate any questions, faculty and staff are invited to submit questions in writing via the designated box located near the entry to the Emerson Suites. There will also be an opportunity for written and oral questions after the presentation portion of the meeting
