Career Services reminds Exploratory students that Career Coaching Group applications are due today (9/19).  This semester we will be running separate first-year and sophomore student groups of 5-8 members each.

Students will be selected to meet weekly during the fall semester to learn about and go through the decision-making process for choosing an academic major. Discussions and activities will be facilitated by a professional career counselor and will include things like: interests, skills, values, internships, resume writing, and more. There will be some expectations/activities outside of the meeting times, such as creating a resume, researching occupations, and completing career-related inventories.

Click here for an application for the Fall 2013 Exploratory Career Coaching Group. Applications are due by Sept. 19 via e-mail to ckeenan@ithaca.edu or they can be dropped off in Career Services (Muller 101).  Participants in this group are expected to attend all 9 meetings in the fall semester. A weekly meeting time will be chosen based on a time when the highest number of participants can attend.

Submitting an application does not guarantee your participation. Accepted participants will be notified via email by September 24. The group will begin the last week in September or first week in October.

If you have any questions about the Exploratory Career Coaching Group, e-mail Caryanne Keenan at ckeenan@ithaca.edu.
