Celebrate Latino Heritage Month! Learn about Social Movements in Mesoamerica on Tuesday, October 8!

Contributed by Don Austin

The Ithaca College Environmental Society and OSEMA bring you Storytellers from the ever popular Beehive Design Collective to present their latest mural on campus this fall!

The presentation will be held in Textor 102 at 7:00pm on Tuesday, October 8.

"Mesoamerica Resiste" illustrates stories of resistance, resilience, and solidarity from Mexico to Colombia. This presentation will feature two awesome storytellers who will highlight tales of community opposition to megadevelopment projects, and the collaboratively crafted graphic that accompanies their story provides an accessible way to learn about the impacts of colonialism and the global economy on the cultural and ecological diversity of the region.
