Attention faculty, staff, and students: Do you play mandolin, bazouki, guitar, fiddle, flute, whistle, recorder, banjo, drum, bass, dulcimer, harmonica, or accordion, even just a little bit? Come join us on Friday afternoon for some fun folk. Fridays 4-6, near the Fish Bowl. 

Fans of traditional music, bring a book or a friend and come hang out in the IC pub to listen. 

We'll be hosting a contra dance on campus on the evening of Friday, May 2. Stay tuned for details!!!

Even if you are just learning an instrument, come join us near the Fish Bowl in the IC Square in the Campus Center, Fridays 4-6 this spring. This event is for all Ithaca College community members who play an instrument, whether you are studying music formally or you just have a dusty guitar in the back of the closet begging for attention.

The tunes are very easy to play! Guitar players can just strum chords if they wish! PDF of most tunes available from Or, if you prefer, you can usually find the sheet music for individual tunes on

All Ithaca-College affiliated musicians (and fans of music) welcome. The music will be played at a tempo comfortable for most musicians from novice to expert. 



For those who don't know, the Fish Bowl is the room in IC Square with windows for walls, near the coffee shop in the Campus Center.
