IC’s undergraduate literary magazine, Stillwater, is hiring an assistant editor-in-chief, as well as editors in fiction, nonfiction, and poetry for the 2013-14 academic year. Please apply!

The positions will be awarded to undergraduates of any grade level, from any major, who possess a passion for art and creative writing and want practice in editing literary work. Applicants should also possess the ability to manage time wisely, to set and meet deadlines, to communicate clearly and regularly with the editor-in-chief, the other genre editors, and the magazine adviser, and the ability to work well with others. We are also interested in applicants who have experience with website development and design.

To apply, please submit a resume, a brief writing sample, and a cover letter (including the names of two references) expressing your credentials and your interest in pursuing this opportunity.

Applications should be submitted to Katie Marks, Assistant Professor of Writing, either by dropping them off at 410 Smiddy Hall or by emailing them to kmarks@ithaca.edu. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, 9/17.

Please email Professor Marks or Lily Weiner (lweiner1@ithaca.edu), editor-in-chief, with any questions.
