Storytellers from the Beehive Design Collective will be on campus TOMORROW NIGHT to discuss how - through extensive community immersion in Central America - the Beehive is attempting to illustrate, document and share diverse stories of survival, community development, and collective action that calls into question the purpose and benefit of "Proyecto Mesoamerica."

The program will take place in Textor 102 at 7:00pm on Tuesday, October 8.

"Mesoamerica Resiste" illustrates stories of resistance, resilience, and solidarity from Mexico to Colombia. This presentation will feature two awesome storytellers who will highlight tales of community opposition to megadevelopment projects, and the collaboratively crafted graphic that accompanies their story provides an accessible way to learn about the impacts of colonialism and the global economy on the cultural and ecological diversity of the region.

If you want to receive a reminder about attending either presentation, sign-up HERE!

This program is sponsored by Ithaca College Environmental Society, OSEMA, and the Durland Alternatives Library

This program is free and open to the public. Contact Don Austin at austin@ithaca.edu if you have any questions!
