Deborah Meier will be giving a presentation at Cornell (120 Physical Sciences Building, 245 East Avenue) on Monday, December 9th from 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Winner of a MacArthur "genius grant" in 1987, Meier founded several progressive public schools, has written volumes on education, and keeps up a weekly exchange with conservative scholars (including, formerly, Diane Ravitch) on the Bridging Differences blog at edweek.org.

Sponsored by the Cornell Minor in Education, with financial support from the CALS Office of Academic Programs and the Ithaca College Department of Education.
