Information for Faculty about Exam Administration through Student Disability Services

Here are a couple of reminders about preparing test materials for students electing to take their tests with Student Disability Services:

*Please email the test to tests@ithaca.edu or deliver a copy to 110 Towers Concourse‪ at least 24 hours before the time of the test. If sent via email, please indicate whether a scantron form or blue book will be needed. 

*Please let SDS know, 24 hours in advance, if special software will be needed for this test (Minitab, SPSS, etc.).  Without advanced notice, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to reserve lab space in time for the test. 

*If audio or visual files are needed for the test, please include them on a flashdrive, DVD or CD and deliver it with the test.  Reliance on links has often been problematic if the server or website goes down. Also, please inform us what programs will be needed to play them.

*Completed exams are delivered to the Dean's Office or can be picked up in our office. Please let us know if you prefer to pick up the test so we know to hold it for you. Due to our testing numbers, we aren't able to scan and email completed exams to faculty.
