Volunteers needed for the 2014 Move In Crew

Our new students will arrive on Sunday, August 24, 2014.  

Upper class students who volunteer to assist will be able to move in to their on-campus housing the day before (Saturday, August 23, 2014), and will be required to attend a training session that evening from 7 – 8 pm.  Your meal plan will begin at lunch on Sunday.  Faculty, staff and alumni who volunteer will attend a training session at 11 am on Thursday, August 21, 2014 (directly following the all-college meeting). 

If you are a member of a student organization or athletic team (club, varsity or JV), your group can all work during the same shift and talk with our new students about becoming involved in your organization!

By following the link below, volunteers can indicate the shift(s) they will work, as well as a preference for location.  The shifts are two hours long:  9am – 11am; 11am – 1pm; 1pm – 3pm; 3pm – 5pm.  You will need to arrive at a check-in location 15 minutes prior to your shift, where you will be given your location assignment.  Details on this will be provided at the training sessions.
