Do you think every child deserves to be healthy? - Food for Thought...

Contributed by Zachary Briggs

If you think every child deserves to be healthy, you're not alone in the fight. Last Fall, more than 100 IC students and community members joined IC Food for Thought in the 7th annual 5K Walk for Plumpy’nut at Cass Park. Over $2,000 was raised to buy Plumpy’nut, a peanut-based therapeutic nutrition supplement, to aid malnourished children in Ethiopia. Click here to check out how awesome last year's event was!

This year, IC Food for Thought is hosting the 8th annual Walk for Plumpy'nut on Saturday, October 11th. Registration will be open soon! Join IC Food for Thought, one of IC's premium humanitarian organizations, once more for this year's exciting event!

IC Food for Thought holds lively group meetings each week during the school year. Stay tuned to find out when our first meeting is! We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving children around the world who are denied access to basic living necessities, a quality education, and proper nutrition. Want to get involved?
