As part of our Act! Speak! Build! advocacy month as we watch the Pursuit of Happyness and hear about the depiction of media portrayals of homeless versus reality. Professor Gossa Tsegaye from the Television-Radio department, who recently filmed a documentary on the homeless tent city in Ithaca, the "jungle," will be speaking before the movie. Free pizza and soda will be provided, and admission to the movie is free! Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact IC Habitat at habitat@ithaca.edu.
