Optical Scanning Procedures

Contributed by Karen Sunderland on 01/20/2013

Information Technology Services would like to remind instructors that all Optical Scanning exams that are processed will be placed into the instructor's Sakai Drop Box.

If you are not currently enrolled into your school's worksite you will be enrolled when you drop off your first exam. Computer Operations no longer prints hard copies of the PDF reports but you are able to do so from Sakai. Instructions are sent with every set of reports that are moved to an Instructors Drop Box via Sakai and to the instructor's Ithaca email address.

Administrative staff are encouraged to review the process for course evaluations so they are processed and returned in a timely manner.

Please visit our website for a comprehensive overview of the reporting options and procedures that are available in order to help ensure that the most efficient reporting options are selected.

  • Requests must be dropped off and picked up at the ITS Helpdesk (Job Hall).
  • A completed request form and key sheet must be provided for each test scoring request.
  • A request form with appropriate setup file/ template must be provided for each Course Evaluation request.
  • Changes to current processes or new requests should be directed to Computer Operations in advance.

If you have any questions please contact ITS Computer Operations at 274-3406.
