Dr. John Richmond, the second candidate for the position of Dean of the School of Music will visit the Ithaca College campus on February 4th and 5th.

Dr. Richmond will make a public presentation on Monday, February 4th from 4-5 PM in Clark Lounge in the Campus Center. We encourage all members of the campus community to attend Dr. Richmond's presentation which will include ample time for Q&A. The presentation will be followed by an informal reception.

Dr. Richmond is a tenured Professor in the School of Music of the Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he is serving in his second 5-year term as the Director of the School of Music. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Richmond served as a Professor and in various administrative capacities in the School of Music at the University of South Florida, Tampa. His educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Music Education) from Northwestern University, a Master of Music (Choral Conducting) from The Conservatory of Music, University of Missouri at Kansas City and a Bachelor of Science (Music Education) from William Jewell College.
