Catherine Taylor, Associate Professor in the Department of Writing, presented recent video work at the Conference on Ecopoetics at the University of California - Berkeley this past week.

Taylor's series of short videos, entitled "War and the Weather," addresses military and surveillance drones and the politics of landscape. At issue are ideas about autonomy, geography, violated boundaries, vertiginous perspectives, and the radical alteration of the human relationship to the sky.
