Sherlock Jr. (Buster Keaton, United States, 1924; 45 min.) A film projectionist longs to be a detective, and puts his meager skills to work when he is framed by a rival for stealing his girlfriend's father's pocketwatch. October: Ten Days that Shook the World (Grigori Aleksandrov, Sergei M. Eisenstein, Russia, 1928; 103 min.) The classic Soviet silent film depicting the end of the events of the October 1917 Russian Revolution: The end of the monarchy, the collapse of the provisions government, and the triumph of the Bolsheviks under the leadership of V.I. Lenin. With live music by Ithaca's Cloud Chamber Orchestra.
